Festival fever for 2016 has officially begun with the first big line up announcement. Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath have been confirmed as Download Festival's first two headliners next year - the third promised tomorrow morning.

Taking place from Friday 12th - Sunday 12th June, Iron Maiden will close out the Sunday night at the Donington Park rock feast, with Ozzy Osbournes crew taking centre stage on the Saturday.

Juggling their latest album The Book Of Souls, including hits like 'Speed Of Light' (listen above), with their seminal inventory, it's set to be an unmissable one for the Iron Maiden die hards. We'll let you know the thrid announcement as soon as it arrives.
