Hip Hop dons Sugarhill Gang to tour

Old skool hip hop collective The Sugarhill Gang to embark on UK tour, coming to the cities of Preston, Glasgow and Northampton.

Responsible for the first rap song to reach the Top 40 in the Billboard Hot 100, 'Rapper's Delight' creators The Sugarhill Gang remain one of the most recognisable names in hip hop. The New York collective used samples of funk, soul and disco to rap their lyrics over, famously using Chic's 'Good Times' as a base for their most successful hit.

The group will come to the UK for a special Sugarhill Reunion tour, bringing along fellow old school stars Grandmaster Melle Mel and Scorpio of the Furious 5 for their cross-country travels to Preston, Glasgow and Northampton.
