Manchester Open is returning to HOME in 2026. The exhibition, the biggest celebration of Greater Manchester’s creative talent, will take place at the city’s HOME Gallery once again from Saturday 20th June to Sunday 6th September for its fourth iteration.
Taking place every two years, the Manchester Open exhibition welcomes artwork from people of any experience, from first-time artists and enthusiastic amateurs to established professionals and emerging talent. Artists are invited to submit a single piece of work in the categories of either ceramics, digital/moving image, drawing, print, painting, photography, sculpture/installation, and textiles. Submissions are reviewed by the Manchester Open selection panel who make the final selection of work to be included in the exhibition, which will be announced in the spring.
The application portal opens on Wednesday 7th January 2026 and closes on Thursday 19th February.
