Fiesta Bombarda Serves Up Beans on Toast for NYD

The carnival champions of the North head to Leeds' HiFi Club for New Year's Day with pissed up folkateer Beans on Toast taking the headlines. 

Don't be fooled by the self imposed 'drunken folk singer' label, Beans on Toast delivers satirical, social and political commentary with rye wit and lyrical dexterity, backed up by instrumental skill that has evolved to incorporate electronic beats and world music influences. Listen to 'Afternoon in the Sunshine' from his latest album The Spanner In The Works below.

He'll be joined by Fiesta Bombarda's usual selection of rabble-rousing DJs and live bands, including China Shop Bull, Issino and Loud Noises, playing reggae, rock, ska and hip hop. And naturally, expect the night's usual high standards in tropical decor as it kicks off 2017 in style.
