On Thursday 16th October 2025, Norman Cook, more formally known as Fatboy Slim, is launching his new book 'It Ain’t Over... ’Til the Fatboy Sings'. The highly illustrated title will be a celebration of the DJ's 40 years in showbiz and a huge acknowledgement to indie, house, acid, and remix culture.
Spread across 300+ pages, the book will explore photos, flyers, and stories and every rave scene that Fatboy Slim helped shape throughout the mid-1980s. To celebrate the launch of the book, there will be an intimate evening at The Theatre Royal in Brighton, on Tuesday 14th October 2025. There, Fatboy Slim will be answering audience Q&As as well as an exclusive book signing where copies will be on sale that night.

Fatboy Slim commented on the book, saying, "This year I'll have been in showbiz for 40 years, and to celebrate that we thought we'd create a big book full of stuff which I've kept over the years. Having played many energetic sets in Brighton before, I’m really excited to appear in one of my favourite venues for something a little different this time. It’ll be nice to get up close and personal with the audience in a beautiful setting and to share some of my stories from what’s been a rollercoaster career; there’s a lot to unpack so strap yourselves in!"
To go along with the book launch will also be a unique collaboration between Fatboy Slim and British photographer Mark Vessey. Titled 'Norman’s Record Box', the art will focus on one of the most personal treasures from the London-born DJ's storied career.
The piece is to be released through one of London’s leading contemporary art spaces, Hang-Up Gallery, where a limited amount of prints will be available both in the gallery and on their website.
