Fairport Convention kickstart 2017 with new album and Liverpool show
The group celebrate their 50th anniversary with the release of '50:50@50' .

Folk rock legends Fairport Convention will mark their 50th year with a new album and a UK traversing tour between January and March 2017.
The run of dates sees them stop by at Liverpool's Camp and Furnace on Sunday 29th January where their electric grip on traditional tunes will light up the re-imagined industrial space.
In line with their golden anniversary the group are releasing new album 50:50@50, which will feature original numbers as well as live recordings of some of their biggest songs.
Fairport Convention revolutionised folk in 1968 with their eponymous debut, whilst seminal record Liege And Lief has earned them critical recognition for their contribution to the genre.
