Guy Lawrence of Disclosure is launching a record label to pair with his club night of the same name, Friends & Family.
Announced on Disclosure’s Instagram on 18th February, Lawrence revealed the label will focus on platforming new, upcoming artists, “the kind of thing I wish I had when I was starting out.”
Details of the label's first release are still to be announced, with Lawrence teasing it as "coming soon and sounding unreal".
Friends & Family began in December 2023 as an event series with the purpose of giving DJs a chance to perform B2B with another DJ they wouldn't normally play with. The night has been taken to clubs around the globe, including ones in California, Montreal, and Manchester's Warehouse Project.
