Starting out with humble beginnings in the car park around the venue Spotlight, now better known as Mama Roux's, in 2012, Digbeth Dining Club has grown into a mammoth food event. And 2026 will see DDC expand as they have just announced their latest venue, Docks Waterfront.
Located in Dudley, the Dock Waterfront will be a permanent venue for DDC, providing street food pioneers a space to take up a permanent residence. Set to open in early 2026 after an investment of £500,000, the Dock Waterfront will be the new hot spot to focus on other events too; including live music, comedy events, quizzes, sports screenings and more.
After being dormant for 15 years, this will be a great use of the space, with the 450 capacity space being utilised by two bars and two rooms. Plus, with the space set to feature up to 8 street food vendors, this will be the go-to location to create some community.
