The upcoming heavyweight bout between Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder has been captured in a commercial and two-part documentary. Sports streaming platform DAZN has teamed up with UK-based production company VOXY Media House to produce a promotional film and two-part documentary series chronicling the build up to the bout, entitled Deep Waters and On The Ground, respectively.

Shot at the fighter’s respective training camps in Alabama and London, On The Ground provides behind-the-scenes access documenting the pair’s separate daily routines, while Deep Waters used body doubles and green screen to initiate the fighters sitting together in a shared lakeside setting.

Ryan Connor, Co-Founder of VOXY Media House, said: “It’s always a privilege stepping inside a fighter’s camp. Not just to see how they train, but how they live day to day. Deontay is a unique character. Funny, cool, eccentric, but also one of the hardest workers I’ve come across… You can see why he’s achieved what he has. Getting the best out of fighters comes down to creating an environment where they feel comfortable.”

The fight is scheduled to take place on Saturday 4th April at The O2 in London
