It has been announced that renowned house wizard, DJ Paulette, has been named the 6th president of the musicians' directory, the F-List For Music. Launched during the pandemic, the online directory aimed to support women and gender-diverse UK music professionals (including musicians, groups and music companies) to connect with professional opportunities.
Currently featuring nearly 700 women with 'electronic' music, the free-use database has become a place where gender-diverse UK music professionals can have access to training programmes, workshops, mentoring, research and advocacy.
DJ Paulette spoke about the achievement, saying, "I am honoured to be named President of The F-List, an organisation that stands firmly for diversity, equity and inclusion in music," said DJ Paulette in a statement. "Supporting women and gender-diverse artists has always been close to my heart, and I’m proud to amplify this essential mission."
