New York indie rockers Cymbals Eat Guitars will drop by Soup Kitchen as they bring new record Pretty Years to English shores. They hit the underground Manchester club on Wednesday 8th February in what will be a sweat drenched display of full on fretwork and saccharine singalongs.
Their latest work channels vocal elements of the Cure and delicate Johnny Marr like guitar strokes, with the occasional scuzzy undertone adding grit to their work - check out '4th of July, Philadelphia (SANDY)' below.
The record was overseen by high profile producer John Congleton, who has also lent his talents to the likes of St. Vincent and Explosions in the Sky, making for basement bludgeoning indie stompers. Secure your Cymbals Eat Guitars tickets below.
