Carlisles Old Fire Station celebrates 10 years with amazing run of shows

This month, one of Carlisle’s most beloved venues turns ten years old - and they’re throwing a month-long party to celebrate in style. The Old Fire Station has spent the past decade building a rock-solid reputation as the city’s beating heart for live music, comedy, and unforgettable nights out. Now, they’re marking that milestone with 15 incredible events, stacked with touring legends, iconic DJs, and top-tier comics.

Set up by husband-and-wife duo Will and Maxine Morgan, The Old Fire Station quickly became more than just a venue. It’s a community hub, a cultural lighthouse, and the place to be for anyone in Carlisle who loves a good laugh, a great gig, and a big night out. From BBC-introduced bands to sell-out comedians, it’s played host to them all.

 

Of those 15 events, there are a few that really stand out as special nights for the Carlisle faithful. From the legendary Inspiral Carpets to a raucous night with Craig Charles, hometown heroes Hardwicke Circus, and a hilarious show from Justin Moorhouse, there’s something for every kind of fan.
