Back Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival is set to return to the stunning Cardross Estate in Stirling - from 17th–19th July 2026 - and the first wave of acts has just landed. After relaunching in 2025 under new ownership and management, the festival’s second year promises to be even bigger, better and brighter.
The first names on the bill include Dutty Moonshine Big Band, punk heroes Skids, indie favourites Space, rave icons Utah Saints, and the ever-innovative Herbaliser Band. They’ll be joined by Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, ex–Stone Roses guitarist Aziz Ibrahim, and Scottish legends Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, alongside crowd-pleasers like Tragedy (All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees and Beyond), The Complete Stone Roses and Ohasis. The line-up also features ska, big band, disco, drag and plenty of fresh talent, with names including Root System, The Dug Hoose Ska Band, David Delinquent & The IOU’s, Drag Disco w/ Madame Jo Mama, Saint Sappho, Shag Nasty, and many more.
And that’s only half the story. Across the weekend, the festival will deliver a full-on experience. On top of five stages of stellar live music, attendees can also look forward to a series of standup comedy performances, a dedicated kids and teen zone, a food Village stacked with street vendors, craft beer and cocktail bars, a wellness and healing area, and the choice of camping or glamping. Put it all together and you’ve got all the ingredients for one of Scotland’s most colourful weekends of the summer.
With more headline acts still to be announced, anticipation is already running high. Expect huge production, plenty of surprises and, above all, the trademark good vibes that have made Back Doune The Rabbit Hole a fast favourite on the Scottish festival calendar.
