Each month we aim to highlight an artist who is absolutely killing it at the moment. Whether it be legends or emerging DJs and artists just starting to leave their mark, if they're gaining momentum at the moment then we want to shout about them. This month it is the turn of Armin Van Buuren.

You'll most likely be familiar with the Dutch DJ's tune 'This Is What It Feels Like', released way back in 2012. A certified anthem that always finds its way back onto the radio every year, it isn't a sign of Armin being a one-hit-wonder. If anything he has gone from strength to strength since and certified his status as one of the world's finest DJs.

Just this month Armin released an album of new tracks from his radio show A State Of Trance, which is one of the most popular weekly dance radio shows in the world. Not only is it a radio station but a reputable global music brand too. In July they will be taking over London's Silverworks Island.

It's a hugely exciting event that will not only feature Armin as the headline act but will also see talents such as Ben Gold, Cosmic Gate and Solarstone take to the decks. It is a must-see event for lovers of all things trance. Earlier in June, Armin was presented with an award from Dutch journalists for his contributions to the country's radio landscape.

It is the perfect way for him to connect with other lovers of dance music. This month has seen the DJ as busy and booked as ever, releasing a series of new remixes for his track 'No Fun' by Ownboss and Goom Gum and playing at Helsinki's Radio Nova Festival.

Earlier this year, Armin's eighth studio album 'Feel Again' was released. It follows the DJ's need to feel connected again after the recent period of isolation we all endured and it is packed full of reinvigorated energy which he will be looking to put into his live shows this year.

You can catch Armin Van Buuren at A State Of Trance Festival on Sunday 2nd July and he has a lot of brilliant new material to share with his UK audience. To find tickets and see where else you can catch him this year click here
