First up is Renshaw Street Food Market, right off the top of Bold Street, and it’s the real deal. Canteen-style with neon signs hanging from the ceiling, the food hall is praised for its East Asian-style setup. 

Bustling with energy, different smells and cuisines from eleven diverse food stalls, the place is overwhelming in the best way. If you’re looking for authentic dim sum, fresh fajitas, chicken shawarma, rice noodles, pad thai or sushi, this is the place to go. 

Favourites are Zhengxin’s fried chicken, praised as some of the best in Liverpool, and the dim sums from Mong Kok. You can wash down the food with bubble tea from Jidong Bubble Tea and then finish it all off with Italian desserts from Antonietta Dolce & Gelato.

Duke Street Food & Drink Market

When: Tuesday to Friday 10am - 11pm, Saturday 9am - 12am and Sunday 9am - 10pm

​Duke Street Food & Drink Market is an award-winning food hall in the heart of the city centre. One of the best food halls in Liverpool, this industrial-style building has six kitchens with extensive, quality menus and is praised for having some of the tastiest dishes in town. 

Club Fish is known for its fresh seafood and small plates. The favourites are crab bao buns, creamy mussels, gambas pil pil and much more. For the meat lovers, Bone and Block do steak frites, grilled lamb kebabs, steak ciabattas and plenty more meaty options. Ginger has some of the best ramen, portions always big and hearty, along with their katsu bowls and bibimbap dishes. If that’s not enough for you, there’s also pasta, pizzas, Mexican and a brunch menu.

Baltic Market

If you’re struggling to decide where to eat in the Baltic, the Baltic Market is always a good shout. Share small plates or hefty platters between your mates while ordering drinks from the bar. 

Highlights are the Turkish grill platters from Cat Kapi, steak sandwiches from La Bistroteca or Spice Thai’s spicy and savoury snacks. If you have a sweet tooth, order some fresh churros with all sorts of different toppings or Doey’s warm cookie dough with your favourite breakfast cereal.

Blackstock Market

​If you’re at Blackstock Market, then you’re most likely here for a comedy gig. Checking out the food hall before you leave is essential, especially when a magician is walking around showing you his best tricks and live music is playing. 

Busy and eccentric, this food hall will have you surprised by its food and bubbling atmosphere. Whether you like fried chicken, a loaded spud, Spanish tapas, burgers and fries, authentic Chinese or Greek food, this place has something for everyone. 

Share small plates or cosy big portions and then finish it all off with Cherry On Top’s creamy milkshakes, loaded waffles or brownies made from local bakers. And if you’re in the mood for drinks, they also have a rooftop bar, loved by locals and visitors alike.

Boxpark Liverpool

Boxpark is a venue in Liverpool to meet up with your mates for a drink and a bite while enjoying a DJ set or watching the football game. It has some award-winning street food vendors, bringing your favourite flavours and staples with an innovative flair.

In the Metquarter, you can choose from a diverse range of options. Little Indian is a popular spot, catering halal, vegan and vegetarian traditional dishes in a buffet style.
