DnB DJ Andy C has been forced to postpone several events due to being stuck in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), as flights continue to be affected by the conflict in the Middle East.
In a statement posted on Instagram on Friday (read below), the DJ said: “Due to the current situation, I'm grounded in The UAE and unable to travel as my flights have been cancelled. At the moment I can't travel until next week.
“Because of this, we've had [to] make the decision to postpone this weekend's shows and next week's London pop-up for my new release.”
The statement continues: "Northampton will now take place on 29th May. Riga, Latvia will not take place on 16th May"
The London pop-up event has not yet secured a new date. Those who entered the draw for tickets will have their entry automatically rolled over once a new date is confirmed, Andy said in the statement.
Thousands of flights have been cancelled since the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran, which has led to retaliatory strikes by Iran on nearby Gulf countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
Other DJs have also been impacted by the conflict, including Charlotte de Witte, who cancelled two Australian shows due to a lack of a "risk-free travel route."
