A new festival is on the horizon as Afro Nation presents WAV Festival, a new concept reimaging R&B. Set to debut on Saturday 2nd January 2026, on the grounds of Green Point Track in South Africa, this unique festival aims to bring music, culture and fashion all into one place.

With the first edition to put forward the richness and innovation of R&B, soul and alternative music, Wav Festival has just annouced the first headliner to be no other than Mariah The Scientist, who'll be joined by special guest Kelvin Momo. Also announced are Shekhinah, Manana, Manette, Kujenga, Strictly Soul House ft Akio and Yandani, with more TBA.

Created with the intention to be a global community of music lovers, cultural explorers and style-conscious audiences, WAV offers meaningful experiences that unite sound, place and identity. And what better place as a gathering point than across Cape Town's iconic coastline, which will allow audiences to immerse themselves in the African heritage, as well as the African and international music and arts community.

Presale tickets go live on Wednesday 29th October 2025, and general sale Thursday 30th October 2025. For more information and access to presale, head to their website.
