Skiddle Mix 024 - Bane (Soul:ution)

The latest mix to come our way is the first time we’ve delved into drum and bass during the Mixcloud era at Skiddle HQ, and what an entrance. As the man behind the counter at arguably the most iconic record shop in Manchester, Eastern Bloc, Bane certainly knows a thing or two about the genre.

Having spent the last thirteen years DJing from his North West base (his time in Manchester was preceded by four years in Liverpool running much loved midweek soiree Contrast), he’s also been a fixture at Croatia’s Dimension festivals and been resident at Marcus Intalex’s Soul:ution for whom he plays on Friday 27^th September at Band on the Wall in Manchester.

This mix serves as a warm-up to that event, a typically energetic and soul drenched effort that includes tracks from the likes of Calibre, Intalex (naturally) and Dillinja.
