From its importance to the 90s rave scene and the anti-establishment culture surrounding said scene - a virtue that still holds strong in the city's defiance today - to Fatboy Slim's infamous free party that saw a 250,000 crowd storm its beach, Brighton events are some of the most underrated in the whole country.
Today, clubs like The Concorde 2, Volks, and The Arch keep the rave legacy of the city alive, and Brighton Beach still puts on an annual run of outdoor raves and gigs (just with slightly fewer people than Fatboy Slim's original one).
