Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Formerly known as Scalping

Scaler are a Bristol based live techno band.

Scaler have quickly become known for blistering performances and astute production, formed through a love of their hometown’s visionary off-the-wall dance music as well as full throttle noise and punk. Each show incorporates dark, hypnotic projected visuals.

In their relatively short time as a band they have supported acclaimed acts such as Marie Davidson, Ho99o9, Black Mass, Holy Fuck and Bliss Signal whilst quickly gaining a reputation for their frenzied closing slots at festivals.

Armed with a battery of squelching synths, animalistic rhythms and gritty, piercing guitars, the band have been meticulous in their selection of shows to deliver the most visceral audio-visual experience. Clouded in mystery, their devoted fans are always left baying for more.

'Messed up in the best possible way...completely immersive and disorientating” NME

“Tinges of HEALTH's earlier, mayhem-ier roots glint through the chaos...these sounds are not really like anything else about” - Line of Best Fit

“Mesmerising intensity. It’s confident and fully-formed, genre-melting experimentalism.” Bristol in Stereo

“Bristol’s best live band…they stand unparalleled’ - Bristol Live Mag.

“The best audio-visual experience I’ve had since seeing Chris Cunningham (The videographer involved here has clearly taken inspiration from him) live with pounding Aphex Twin drill & bass. The best techno I’ve seen since Siriusmodeselektor at the Warehouse Project in Manchester..” - Louder than War
