About

Radiohead and Jeff Buckley

Performed LIVE by The Classic Double Band

Camp and Furnace, Liverpool
Friday 12th March 2027
19:00 – 23:00
18+

Two of the most extraordinary and emotionally powerful catalogues of the 1990s. One incredible live band. One night at Camp and Furnace.

The Classic Double Band return to Camp and Furnace for a brand-new show celebrating Radiohead and Jeff Buckley – two artists whose music helped define a generation and whose influence has only grown with time.

This is exactly what the Classic Double does best: taking the music of truly iconic artists and building it into a full-scale, two-hour-plus live concert, performed by an exceptional band of musicians in one of Liverpool's most atmospheric live spaces.

RADIOHEAD

Few bands have changed the direction of alternative music quite like Radiohead.

Beginning with the guitar-driven intensity of Pablo Honey and The Bends, they went on to create the landmark OK Computer before tearing up their own rulebook with the electronic, experimental world of Kid A and the albums that followed.

The result is a catalogue that moves from enormous guitar anthems to beautiful, unsettling ballads and completely immersive soundscapes. Radiohead have achieved six UK No.1 albums, with The Bends and OK Computer helping establish them as one of Britain's most acclaimed modern rock bands. (Official Charts)

Expect the Classic Double Band to go right across that catalogue – big guitars, intricate musicianship, atmospheric production and those huge emotional moments that demand to be heard live.

EXPECT TO HEAR – RADIOHEAD

Creep • Karma Police • No Surprises • Fake Plastic Trees • High and Dry • Paranoid Android • Just • Street Spirit (Fade Out) • The Bends • Exit Music (For a Film) • There There • Everything in Its Right Place and more.

JEFF BUCKLEY

Then, the music of Jeff Buckley.

Buckley's recorded catalogue may be relatively small, but its impact is enormous. Emerging from New York's East Village music scene, he released his only completed studio album, Grace, in 1994 – an extraordinary record built around his remarkable vocal range, guitar playing and a band capable of moving from near silence to explosive rock. (Jeff Buckley)

Grace gave us Last Goodbye, Grace, Lover, You Should've Come Over, So Real, Dream Brother and Buckley's now-iconic interpretation of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. (Jeff Buckley)

It is music that needs a genuinely brilliant live band to do it justice – and that's exactly why it belongs in a Classic Double.

EXPECT TO HEAR – JEFF BUCKLEY

Grace • Last Goodbye • Lover, You Should've Come Over • Hallelujah • So Real • Mojo Pin • Dream Brother • Eternal Life and more.

THE CLASSIC DOUBLE BAND

If you've been to a Classic Double at Camp and Furnace before, you'll know this isn't a conventional tribute show.

The band is the show.

The Classic Double Band are a collective of exceptional live musicians taking on some of the greatest catalogues in music – with previous Camp and Furnace shows celebrating artists including Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Fleetwood Mac, Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Beatles and more.

There's no need for imitation or costumes. These shows are about musicianship, arrangements, huge songs and hearing music you love played properly LIVE.

And Radiohead + Jeff Buckley might just be one of the most natural Classic Double pairings yet.

LIVE AT CAMP AND FURNACE

This music deserves more than a small stage.

Inside the huge industrial surroundings of Camp and Furnace, the Classic Double Band will build a full live concert around two catalogues made for atmosphere – from the quietest moments of Grace and Fake Plastic Trees to the sheer force of Paranoid Android, Just and Eternal Life.

Big sound. Full live production. An incredible band. A room full of people who know every word.

For fans of 90s alternative rock, art rock, indie, grunge and genuinely great live musicianship, this is one to get in the diary.

WHO SHOULD COME?

Radiohead fans. Jeff Buckley fans. 90s alternative kids. Guitar obsessives. Vinyl collectors. Musicians. Anyone who still believes the best way to experience great music is loud, live and in a room full of people who love it as much as you do.
