On what would have been Jimi Hendrix’s 85th birthday, we’re celebrating one of the most revolutionary musicians who ever lived – LOUD and LIVE.

This isn't simply a night of Hendrix songs.

This is a full live celebration of Jimi Hendrix, performed by one of the most established and respected Hendrix tribute bands around – Are You Experienced?

For more than 25 years, the band have dedicated themselves to recreating the explosive sound, musicianship and sheer excitement of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, performing around the world and building a reputation among serious Hendrix fans for getting extraordinarily close to the real thing.

At the centre of it is guitarist and vocalist John Campbell – a lifelong Hendrix devotee whose playing, sound and stage presence have seen him perform Hendrix's music across the UK, Europe and beyond.

And there's one endorsement that says more than most:

Jimi Hendrix's own younger brother, Leon Hendrix, personally chose John and Are You Experienced? to perform alongside him – with the band going on to join Leon for multiple UK tours.

Now they're coming to Camp and Furnace for a very special date.

Exactly 85 years later, hundreds of Hendrix fans will come together in Liverpool to celebrate the music he left behind.
