Arriving just in time to combat the harsh winter cold and brighten up those dark, early nights, Guy Fawkes night is a favourite across the country for kids and adults alike, and Brighton and Hove hosts a number of great Bonfire parties to delight all ages.
The Sussex Cricket Ground's annual celebration is a yearly favourite, with an 'enhanced pyrotechnic disply' in the offing as well as food, drink and entertainment from 6pm until the main event at 7:30pm.
Brighton Lions Fireworks Night heads back to Brighton Racecourse, also on the 5th, and whilst tickets may be on the pricey side at £10 it's well worth the money with kids entertainment and the fireworks themselves settting the bar extremely high.
Nevill Recreation Ground likewise hosts The Family Firework Spectacular, with a Fire Dance Show by Poi Passion supporting the main fireworks event at 7pm, which is masterfully choreographed to music.
