Inspired by a combined history of dating only redheaded girls and a strangely insatiable love of dyed red hair on girls.

Following the end of their old band The Bloody Thumbs, Ellis Crewe-Candy and Robert Moir went their separate ways and began writing new songs for their own projects. A chance 'reunion' request and a few jamming sessions later a new band was formed. Bringing old friends and new ones the group have combined their love of dirty classic rock and women to form Redhead.
