Isabella Pakulska (aka Isa: standing for ice, stillness, focus) is the Polish-born Manchester-based electronic music composer and live performer. Although coming from a family with a classical music tradition, her musical interests are rooted in black metal, sludge and experimental electronic music.

Moving from Poland to the UK and being exposed to the vibrant Manchester electronic music scene was a turning point for Isa. She graduated from Manchester School of Electronic Music in 2016 while making her first steps into sound design and composition as well as performing at the local scene.

Sonically, Isa is trying to marry two of her main music passions - Black Metal heavily distorted, spaced out guitar riffs and Techno with a lot of emphasis on solid four on four drumming and experimental sound design. In 2021 Isa released her debut album “Ketamine 666”.
