FREESPIRITS are a London-based Indie Rock & Roll band formed by brothers Carlo & Lucas Mariani, ex-members of britpop legends Hurricane #1.

The band creates fresh sounds by mixing Britpop, Grunge & everything in between. They sound like a bar brawl between The Verve & Nirvana with some added electronic elements.

The group is getting a lot of media attention after playing fests like Tramlines, Great Escape, Sound City and many more, getting airplay on BBC Radio and touring relentlessly in the UK and Europe playing in iconic venues such as The Cavern Club, The Joiners, Water Rats, The Garage, The Monarch, etc.

Their debut single was produced by Dave Scott (Oasis) the same guy who mixed “Supersonic”. The lads have extensive live experience having shared stages with the likes of Ride (@ Alan Mcgee’s Tabernacle), Echo & The Bunnymen, Shed7, Ash, Carl Barat and countless others.

The lyrics portray the situations we all go through in life with themes like love and violence, hope (or lack of) & anxiety… They are currently working on their 2nd record titled “The Upside Down” which will be a concept album about a character trying to make sense of this messed up world we find ourselves in right now… The album will be released in the Spring/2022 just in time for all the Summer festivals when the band will hit the road again with plans of touring Europe, US, Brazil & even Japan is on the cards.

Freespirits is more than just a band, they’re a gang and the lads are looking to give it all they’ve got to achieve their goals and share their energy and ideas with the world.
