DJ Kane's influence is architecturally woven into the fabric of the Drum and Bass scene. A pioneering figure, he has carved his legacy on iconic labels such as Undiluted, No U-Turn, and Congo Natty, cementing his position as a genre-defining luminary.

The Original Renegade, Kane co-founded the groundbreaking Renegade Hardware, setting its defining tone with the imprint's inaugural release. His visionary contributions resonate through an era that shaped the very essence of Drum and Bass on platforms like Hardware and at renowned venues such as the iconic club The End.

Kane's journey began with the Acid House tapes his older sister brought home. His immersion in the sounds of Fantasy FM sparked his journey to buy a set of decks, and craft mixtapes. Gaining bookings on notable rave platforms such as Electribe, a hardcore rave promotion also known for showcasing emerging talents also responsible for giving an early platform to the late great MC Skibba. Here he built connections that would be integral to his emergence as a key player in setting the foundations of the scene.

Kane's audacious and distinctive mixing style defies convention, offering fast-paced, relentless sets that energise audiences and dominate the dance floor. His innate ability to infuse unmatched energy elevates him as the go-to dance floor DJ, a raver's favourite. 

His keen eye for emerging lyrical talent has fostered collaborations with esteemed vocal artists such as Skibba, Funsta, Evil, Stormin, Shabba, and Riddla. 

With over 25 illustrious years on the iconic Jungle Drum and Bass pirate station Kool FM, When Kool FM relaunched in 2023 as part of the Rinse FM family as a legal entity Kane was called on. You can catch his weekly drive-time show on a Tuesday.

During the pandemic, Kane's prowess was sought after for an iconic remix project for Trojan Records and Jungle Cakes, where he lent his creative touch to the classic chart-topper "Israelites" by Desmond Dekker.
