The venue

A bar and grill on Chestnut Street rated 4.3 from around 1,200 reviews, mid-priced, open to midnight on Thursdays. There is a restaurant downstairs and a separate bar upstairs - the upstairs room is the one to ask about for a group - plus a well-regarded happy hour.

Getting there

Well connected: Suburban Station is a seven-minute walk, giving access to all SEPTA Regional Rail lines and the Market-Frankford and Broad Street subway lines, and 30th Street Station is twelve minutes, so the venue is reachable from New York and Washington by train. Centre City parking is expensive, so the train is the easier option.
