Jackies Mallorca House Music Festival w/ Purple Disco Machine

Estamos muy felices de anunciar una nueva cita muy especial: Jackies House Music Festival llega por primera vez a Mallorca.

El festival se celebrará el próximo domingo 16 de agosto, en horario de 18:00 a 00:00, en el espectacular recinto de Es Bosq, ubicado en el antiguo Aquapark de Calvià. Un espacio al aire libre, rodeado de naturaleza, que ofrecerá el escenario perfecto para una experiencia única.

El lineup estará encabezado por el reconocido artista Purple Disco Machine, junto a más nombres que iremos desvelando próximamente. Será una ocasión irrepetible para bailar juntos en un entorno incomparable, en plena isla de Mallorca, disfrutando de la mejor música house a nivel mundial.

Why Jackies is called jackies?
Many people wonder where the name Jackies comes from. Well, “Jackies” is derived from the phrase “Jack Your Body.” This phrase became popular with the song “Jack Your Body” by Steve “Silk” Hurley, released in 1986. This track is one of the first hits in house music and was pioneering in introducing the word “Jack” as a fundamental term in the language of this genre. In house music, “Jack” refers to the characteristic dance style and the physical sensation of moving to the rhythm of the music. The song was a hit in Chicago’s nightclubs and soon after in Europe, where it reached number one in the UK in 1987.
