York Dungeon Standard Admission at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects to bring the city’s past to life, with scenes designed to be seen, heard and smelled.
Along the way, you encounter the Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as historical figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The experience also covers the Black Plague and a torture chamber, presenting some of York’s most notorious stories in one walk-through attraction.
