About York Dungeon Standard Admission
York Dungeon Standard Admission takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darkest history, using live actors, immersive sets and special effects to bring the city’s past to life. The experience features Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as notorious figures including Guy Fawkes and local witch Isabella Billington.
As you move through the attraction, you will see, hear and smell scenes from York’s murky past. The journey also includes the Black Plague and a fearsome torture chamber, with history presented as a theatrical walk-through experience.
