About York Dungeon Standard Admission

York Dungeon Standard Admission at York Dungeon takes you through 2,000 years of York’s darker history. The experience uses live actors, immersive sets and special effects to bring stories from the city’s past to life.

Along the way, you encounter Vikings and their Saxon enemies, as well as figures including Guy Fawkes and Isabella Billington. The experience also includes the Black Plague and a torture chamber, presented as part of York’s ‘orrible history.
