Places where memories could be made. And let’s face it, our cities need more open-minded spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can hang out, catch up with friends, meet new faces, share ideas, eat, drink and be entertained. Health clubs and soft play centres aren’t for everyone after all. And that’s where we come in. At Space Invaders we take over neglected empty spaces that are in transition. These are often spaces bought for development but given to us to play in before the development begins. Are they picture perfect? Absolutely not. Does that matter? No. And here’s why... These spaces are a blank canvas for us to create somewhere that’s really community-focused. We can be creative, imaginative, experimental and basically let our inner child go wild. Think magical, think out of the ordinary, think mystery. When you visit a Space Invaders space, we encourage you to leave your expectations at the front door. Simply bring your imagination, a sense of wonder, and those you love best. We’ll do the rest.
