SPOTLIGHT: The Midlands Runway Party

The Industry Spot presents SPOTLIGHT, a three-hour takeover at The Grand Palace that serves as the official closing party for day one of Wolves Fringe Arts Fest 2026.

Following the Fringe Arts Wolves Light Parade and Friday Lates at Wolves Art Gallery, we are hosting the Midlands first and only runway party.

The event marks 40 years since Wolverhampton pioneers birthed UK streetwear customisation, hip-hop film legacy, and international breakdance battles in 1986. Grounded in nearly half a century of history, the night replaces stiff catwalks with continuous movement, big sounds, and live percussion.

Ms L Vibez controls the soundtrack from 21:00 until Midnight alongside live instrumentation, model showcases, and artist PAs! Enjoy Bhangra, Breakdance, UK Rap, R&B, Jazz, and Amapiano.

This event is truly Powered By Wolves; brought to life alongside our educational partners helping us build this spectacle. Live media capture, PR, and backstage logistics are being supported by a student production crew from the University of Wolverhampton.

The runway models’ hair & makeup are being conceptualised and executed by the talented students at the City of Wolverhampton College. We are proud to provide a live industry environment for the next generation of creatives in Wolverhampton!
