Mucky Weekender Festival 2026

Mucky Weekender is Winchester's favourite three-day music & arts festival, organised by Dub Pistols' frontman Barry Ashworth.

The event returns for its seventh year at Vicarage Farm from Thursday 10th to Saturday 12th September. The intimate 5000-capacity gathering is set within 28 acres of private parkland, featuring 4 stages with one secluded in the woods and a main bar venue. The theme for this year is Circus of Freaks. "Expect the most electric of atmospheres, you can arrive alone and leave with 100 new friends" says organiser Barry Ashworth. Mucky Weekender champions all music genres featuring established and up and coming live bands, DJs, street performers and circus acts.

Are there any age restrictions -

Mucky Weekender is a strictly NO UNDER 16's festival. 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Over 18s allowed.

When will the gates to the festival open and close -

The car park, live-in vehicle and public entry gates will open at 9am on Thursday 10th September 2026 (only for customers that have purchased the Thursday arrival ticket) and close at 10pm that night - no entry after that time until Friday 11th September at 9am. The gates on Friday 11th September will close at 10pm and reopen on Saturday 12th September at 9am and close at 10pm.

What time will the entertainment start and finish?

Thursday 2pm - 11pm (only for customers that have purchased the Thursday arrival ticket) - Friday midday - 2am, Saturday midday - 2am. No music on Sunday.
