The Connections Club at Dexter and Jones

Sick of swiping? Gutted by ghosting? If you feel like dating (or even just meeting new people) has become all about apps, speed and just wish someone would give it some real thought then The Connections Club is for you!

Every two months we will be running a night for singles that allows you to meet new people with no pressure. Each evening will have a theme whether it be wine tasting, quiz or games night meaning all the focus isn't on you and whether you answered correctly to how you feel about 'pineapple on pizza' (genuinely snooze questions that tell you NOTHING!)

The event will be run by myself, Katy Rickitt, owner of Dexter and Jones bar, part time celebrant and full-time lover of love but also just bringing people together. If you've ever been to Dexters you'll know that our greatest success is the long farmhouse table, where friendships have been forged and built on for years.

My partner in crime will be Giles Heckstall-Smith, one of Knutsford's most eligible bachelors and the most welcoming and fun loving human who had a vision and dream to create the experience singles actually want to make meaningful connections.

It's a big task, but between us we reckon we can take it on!
