Great line up of live bands, venue is a decent size, prices on drinks are fairly cheap. The later it gets the busier it gets. Solid venue.

The sound man didnâ??t seem to know what he was doing, perhaps he should pay more attention to the bands instead of chatting to his mates, poor performance from him !!

Review of The Soapgirls at Alchemy

Other than the band who were excellent as always, this was a shambles. I'd bought tickets on Skiddle but it did not seem to be a ticketed event, I was never asked to show a ticket and didn't see anyone else being asked, which leads me to believe I paid for an event that was essentially free. The sound was poor, with feedback right throughout the set.  Set up and timings of the venue led to everyone being sat away from the stage apart from myself and a few others who came down onto the floor area, all of which led to a poor atmosphere.  I am all for  supporting music venues, but I will not plan to return here, though I will be seeing the band again, and again.

Paid for tickets but people got in for free and we did not need tickets and was never asked to produce the tickets

concert didnt seem to have been promoted enough.. SG should be playing larger venues now.
