The Wakefield Alt Rock & Metal Reunion 2026 brings the city's alternative scene back together for one huge night celebrating the music, venues, DJs and people who made Wakefield's nightlife unforgettable. Expect a packed dancefloor and a soundtrack spanning decades of: Alternative • Rock • Metal • Nu Metal • Punk • Grunge • Goth • Industrial • Emo From the anthems that filled Wakefield's much-loved venues to newer tracks keeping the scene alive, expect loud guitars, massive choruses and serious nostalgia from start to finish. A team of DJs with strong links to Wakefield's alternative scene will be bringing together the tracks that defined those nights and created so many memories. This is a free-entry, not-for-profit reunion, created by fans of the scene for the people who were part of it. Free tickets are required and capacity is strictly limited. Please only claim a ticket if you genuinely intend to attend, so somebody else does not miss out. Whether you were out every weekend, drifted away from the scene years ago, or simply wish Wakefield still had a proper alternative night, this one is for you.
