Review of Saied Silbak & Ana Silvera

Perfect venue for this lovely music and singing event. Very atmospheric

What an absolutely superb concert! Saied and Ana surpassed themselves with their beautiful music and songs that were haunting, hypnotic and utterly mesmerising. It was such a joy! And the church venue was for me a first time experience, which has acoustics that were perfect for  transporting their sound that saturated the whole space; while the organising team on hand were simply delightful and so welcoming. Because they were set up at ground level however, it made it difficult to see them both from a few rows back. For some, just being present in the moment by simply listening, is sufficient to become absorbed in the music. For me, I like to watch closely how the artists play their instruments, so I stood by a front pillar next to the front row and became fully immersed in the magic of their sound. And boy the time just flew! I could have stayed all night long - I didn't want it to end..

Wonderful music in a beautiful venue. It is a pity that the muscians are on the same level as all the seating. This means that anyone sitting more than a couple of rows from the front cannot see the performance.

Sublime music,crossing religious and historical time.

Utterly extraordinary duo! I may not have understood the languages the songs were sung in, but the emotional landscapes they created transported and touched me in ways I'd never experienced before! Beautiful! Thank you!
