Top Comedy at The Rhodehouse

TOP Comedy at The Rhodehouse!

The Rhodehouse & Funhouse Comedy are back for another afternoon of live music and stand-up comedy on Sunday 25th October, featuring three brilliant comedians and a fantastic compere.

Taking to the stage is Brennan Reece, winner of English Comedian of the Year and one of the biggest rising names on the UK comedy circuit. A multi-award-winning stand-up, storyteller and self-confessed mummy’s boy, Brennan has appeared on Live at the Apollo, Roast Battle, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Live at the Comedy Store and Celeb Coach Trip. With his unmistakable Northern charm, brilliant storytelling and quick wit, Brennan has built a reputation as a hugely entertaining live performer.

Also performing is Diane Spencer, an award-winning comedian known for her mischievous, delightfully dark humour and brilliant storytelling. A regular at major comedy clubs across Britain, Diane has performed internationally and taken solo shows to the Edinburgh, Melbourne and Adelaide comedy festivals. Her comedy has also found a huge audience online, with more than 50,000 YouTube subscribers and over 10 million views.

Completing the line-up is Aidan Jones, an Australian comedian and touring headliner who has recently made London his home. With more than a decade of experience on stage, Aidan combines raw, personal stand-up with sharp storytelling and a brilliantly unpredictable delivery. His critically acclaimed show Chopin’s Nocturne brought together his background as a classical pianist with stand-up comedy, even incorporating a live performance of Chopin into the show.

Keeping everything moving throughout the afternoon is James Cook, who’ll be your host for the show.

Before the comedy gets underway, resident musician Bill Black will perform a short live set to get the afternoon started. Come on down to The Parade for a afternoon full of laughs!
