Steve Mitchell has been performing professionally for over 15 years, and a good chunk of that has gone into recreating George Michael's showstopping performances.
The set covers the whole career. "Careless Whisper" and "A Different Corner" from the quieter end, then "Faith," "Freedom! '90" and "Outside" once the room is warm. The Wham! singles get their turn too.
Costumes and staging are part of it, but the sound is where the money has gone. This is a full production, not a bloke with a backing track.
Good night for anyone who grew up with these records, and for anyone who inherited them.
