Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Evening

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Rhodehouse, Sutton Coldfield on Sunday November 29th with another great line-up of comedians.

Topping the bill is the unique and distinctive Paul Tonkinson who has been a special guest on Michael McIntyre’s live UK tours, on his global arena tour playing to millions across the globe and on BBC’s ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’. Known for his effervescent physicality and skilful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for quite a formidable talent.

Opening will be comedian, metalhead, amateur occultist and musician Andrew O’Neill. Having been in his own words ‘a show off since birth’, he went on to do comedy sketches in school assemblies and make comedy films instead of working for his ‘A’ levels! He is a regular on the comedy stage at various festivals including, Download, Bloodstock and Leeds, as well as having appeared on TV’s ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’. Sharp, artistic and unique, his innate confidence and fondness of absurdity leaves his audiences feeling full of glee.

Completing the line-up is David Eagle, winner of Nottingham Comedy Festival New Comedian Of The Year and member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young’uns, with his various side-splitting-stories about being blind.

Compere will be the appealing Carl Jones, who has a natural ability of telling humorous stories, which draw in the entire crowd.
