Well, here we go May 16th 2026 Trance unleashed are back with a bang with this Stella line featuring Carl Nicholson and Peter Steele two top quality artists along with guests Tom Kennedy aka Push continue and local up and coming DJ Sarah Georgie Carr.
Us the ever present TU residents Mark Selby Steve Goldsmith David Nicholls and Robert Trowsdale to complete the lineup at Elysium Nightclub Sunderland.

Carl Nicholson-

London born & bred producer Carl Nicholson has been tirelessly perfecting his musical craft for well over two decades now.

Starting in the era of the acid house boom, Carl Nicholson was at the forefront of the UK underground dance scene since the early nineties.

Carl Nicholson established himself by learning and performing alongside industry figureheads like Tony de Vit, Fatboy Slim, Paul van Dyk, and more. Fast forward to 2013, Carl decided to switch gears and test his hand in the fast-growing world of trance music.

Over the course of the past five years, Carl Nicholson has soared to new heights under his trance alias. He has garnered support from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk and many more.

Peter Steel-

Peter had his first outing on In Search Of Sunrise 14 CD 3 curated by Andy Moor, with his track Zen back in 2018. In 2020 Peter was again chosen for In Search Of Sunrise CD 2, this time by Giuseppe Ottaviani with the track Karma, released on Giuseppe's own GO Music label. This track had huge support from Paul van Dyk and the official remix from Sneijder. 2020 saw three more releases; Summer Rain, The Fire (a collaboration with Craig Connolly) and To The Stars (a collaboration with Nikolauss).

Peter is one of those Producers who revels in providing a well curated playlist, specific to the event he's been booked for. And it shows. Gigs in the UK and Holland have cemented his love for engaging with his audience and watching firsthand their reaction to his music. 2022 saw a pivotal moment in Peter's music career when he finally got to play on the Main Stage for Luminosity Beach Festival 2022. Originally planned for 2020 this edition was postponed twice but Peter eventually got his moment and delivered a wonderful set starting with tracks that first inspired Peter to get involved with Trance.

Both headline DJs will be playing extended sets on the night 1.5hrs.

Tom Kennedy

A UK-based DJ with over 25 years of experience playing both small and large-scale events.
Tom has been fortunate to have had some amazing experiences through music in the UK and internationally.
Tom is also the co-promotor for the brand Collaborate, which I enjoyed playing for last year.

Sarah Carr

Also a UK-based DJ with over 25 years of experience. Sarah learned her DJ skills on vinyl moving on to digital around 8 years ago. Again, moving in and out of different genres but mainly sticking to tech/trance. Seeing Sarah play a few time's and listening to her set's, it's only right for her time to play out in front of the TU family.
