Stratford-upon-Avon Highlights Audio Tour: Literary Heritage

Explore Stratford-upon-Avon at your own pace

The River Avon holds more than just reflections of timbered frames and poetic legacies. Beneath the picturesque facade of Stratford lies a centuries old graveyard of political betrayal, clandestine scandals, and local rebellions that shaped the soul of England.

Unlock these secrets with this self-guided audio tour. Wander beyond the souvenir shops to unearth the raw narratives hidden within the walls of Hall's Croft and the silent stones of Holy Trinity.

What dark secret lies buried beneath the floorboards of the Swan Theatre? Who truly orchestrated the silent rebellion that nearly burned this town to ash? Why does a specific unmarked grave at Holy Trinity continue to rattle its iron gate long after the sun sets?
