BUTTON WAREHOUSE ACADEMY OF MAGIC

Four magical evenings. One enchanted Academy. A September they won't forget.

This September, something rather unusual is happening behind the doors of Button Warehouse...

For four Friday evenings, our upstairs rooms will be transformed into the Button Warehouse Academy of Magic, and we're inviting a small group of young witches and wizards aged 7-11 to enrol.

From the moment they arrive, they're not simply coming to an event.

They're joining the Academy.

There will be spells to master, potions to concoct, wands to make, magical creatures to discover and just the right amount of magical mischief along the way.

And because even witches and wizards need feeding...

Every evening includes a magical feast - so that's Friday night tea sorted too.

Students will return each week to continue their training, build their magical skills and fill their very own spell book with everything they've learnt before graduating from the Academy on their final evening.

WEEK ONE - FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER

The Academy Doors Open: Spells & Potions

Our new students enter the Academy for the first time and their magical training begins.

They'll discover the introduction to spell casting, begin learning the mysterious art of potion making and find out exactly what awaits them over the coming weeks.

And, of course, their first evening at the Academy ends with a magical feast.

WEEK TWO - FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER

Wands, Duelling & Magical Defence

No witch or wizard should be without a wand.

Students will make their own, learn the movements needed to cast their spells and put their new skills to the test with magical duelling and defence spells.

Expect plenty of wand waving, spell casting and mischief.

Followed by another magical feast.

WEEK THREE - FRIDAY 2ND OCTOBER

Magical Creatures & Immersive Storytelling

Things get a little stranger inside the Academy...

Our storyteller Gordon joins us for a very special evening as students are transported into tales of mysterious beasts, curious creatures and magical worlds through immersive storytelling.

And after an evening of adventures, our students will gather once again for their magical feast.

WEEK FOUR - FRIDAY 9TH OCTOBER

Graduation Night

One final evening of magic.

Students will celebrate everything they've learnt with games, treats, photographs and a magical film before officially graduating from the Button Warehouse Academy of Magic.

Each young witch or wizard will leave with their own Academy Graduation Certificate to mark the completion of their magical training.

And naturally, there will be one final magical feast.

AND WHAT ABOUT THE MUGGLES?

We've thought about you too.

When you drop your young witch or wizard at the Academy, grown-ups will have their hand stamped, giving you access to discounted drinks in the Button Warehouse bar downstairs between 6pm-8pm.

So while they're upstairs learning spells, making potions and getting up to magical mischief...

you get two hours downstairs with a drink.

No cooking their tea.
No entertaining them.
No magic required.

They do magic & mischief upstairs.
You do Muggle things downstairs.

We think that's a rather good Friday night for everyone.

£90 per child for the complete four-week course

The price includes all four Academy evenings, activities, wand making, spell book, magical experiences, a feast every week and their Academy Graduation Certificate.

Places will be limited to keep the experience immersive and make sure every student feels part of the Academy.

This September, the doors will open.
