Stirling Comedy Club presents Dead Funny Open Mic Competition 2027 Wildcard W01 Hosted by Mick McNeill.

Mick McNeill’s rapid climb up the Scottish comedy ladder has seen him become a weekend favourite at every comedy club in the country. Hailed by the Daily Record as 'a rising star of Scottish comedy', Mick has headlined the famous Stand Comedy Club as well as supported various acclaimed acts on tour such as Connor Burns, Chris Kent, Eric Rushton, and Carl Hutchinson.

Acts who progress from each Wildcard and Heat will be drawn at random with 10 Acts performing at each Semi Final with date TBC.

Acts who progress from each Semi Final will be drawn at random with 8 Acts performing at the Final with date TBC.

3 Audience members selected at random can vote to cut off each Acts set early.

If more Acts complete the full time duration than progression slots are available, the 1st cut off vote time will be used and then 2nd cut off time.

Acts must complete a basic contact card at the time of show registration and any late arrivals will not be permitted participation for that or future instances.

Acts are limited to 1 x Wildcard and 1 x Heat entry only.

Best of show will be decided by an audience ballot vote. With any instances of a tie determined by the host.

A Minimum of 15 Acts must perform at each Wildcard and Heat date.

A Maximum of 30 Acts will perform at each Wildcard and Heat date.

Entry is open to all levels and experiences.

All Acts and Audience must be 18+
