The British Schools Museum in Hitchin offers a deeply atmospheric and historically rich setting for a paranormal investigation. Established in 1810, the site comprises a collection of original Victorian and Edwardian school buildings, including the world’s last remaining purpose-built Monitorial schoolroom and an evocative gallery classroom that has witnessed generations of pupils.
Once night falls, the museum takes on a very different character. Long corridors, historic classrooms, stairwells, and the former headmaster’s house provide an immersive environment ideal for paranormal research and spirit communication. Over the years, visitors and investigators have reported unexplained footsteps, voices, shadow figures, and sudden temperature changes throughout the building.
With its preserved architecture, layered history, and reports of unusual activity, the British Schools Museum is a compelling location for both seasoned investigators and those new to the paranormal. This event offers exclusive after-hours access, allowing you to explore the venue in a calm, respectful, and authentic investigation setting.
