Shadow Play

London arts group The Bloody Poets will transform the Other space arts into the stage for a one-off, site specific performance. This immersive theatrical experience will reunite 9 artists from all around Europe to combine music, poetry, dance and visual arts.

SHADOW PLAY is a wound you enter: a wake no one announced, a house of unfinished dances, people folded into shadow. Moving sideways, as memory does, through fragments of a life, the audience is invited to sit with what we usually refuse to face: grief, absence, love, and the strange beauty that can exist inside endings.

A séance without superstition; a communion with the parts of ourselves we buried alongside those we lost.

Performed once and never repeated, SHADOW PLAY disappears the moment it is fully felt, the way everything true eventually does.
