The Longest Yarn 2: Britain at War is a traveling exhibition of intricate wool art, featuring 80 one-meter panels depicting key events and social aspects of life in Britain between September 1939 and VE Day, May 1945. Commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day, the exhibition uses crochet and knitting to tell the story of the era, including The Blitz, D-Day, rationing, and the Home Guard, with scenes meticulously crafted with guidance from historians.
