Comedy Night

Following the launch in July, Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to The Brooklands, Shrewsbury on Wednesday October 21st.

Topping the bill is Christian Reilly who at the age of 15 joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both captivates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.

Opening the night will be Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and finalist in British Comedian of the Year, the cheeky Jack Gleadow, hailing from Hull and claiming to have illegitimate Chuckle Brothers heritage, he is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today.

Also appearing is the effortlessly engaging Dominic Woodward, telling hilarious stories about his everyday life and bringing to life the quirky people he meets. His insightful humorous observations and sharp material are delivered with a somewhat relaxed air.

Compere for the night will be the clever and thought-provoking Anthony Williams with his topical observations.
